Ordering and shipment

Do you offer returns?

Generally; No.

Cancelations of an order have to be within 24 hours!

It is not possible to return custom items, we make sure during the process you are up to date on how it is going with your order and that you are happy with the product.

Dice in general can't be returned. We are a small business, therefore we can't replace an item that gets lost during shipping (mostly because every item is unique), however, we will allways try to figure out a solution with you.

If something is wrong with your order upon arrival, please contact us within 14 days via info@spiritbrooke-and-everstar.com.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship to most European countries (+ Greenland) that do not have packaging laws. Although we do think these regulations are important, for our small business it is too expensive to participate in these individual acts that are different per country.

We also ship to the US and Canada.

How quickly do you ship?

Between 1-3 business days your order will be shipped. We leave 24 hours in between your order and shipment in case you want to cancel the order.

Where is your shop located?

We are a webshop based in the Netherlands. We do not have a physical shop!

Dice

Are the dice balanced?

Long story short, our dice are totally usable for TTRPGs like D&D or pathfinder. Even the Geode ones!

Long story long: Inclusions need to be extremely heavy to affect the roll statistically. Other people (not us) statistically tested my geode dice and liquid core (which you could consider most unbalanced) and they rolled fair across the faces. The dice were rolled a thousand times! The inclusions we use are very light, also if we include charms, they are made of resin, having the same density as the rest of the dice. With the liquid cores we make sure the core is in the middle, evenly distributing weight. You have to really weigh one side of the dice a lot (like with lead) to actually influence the randomness of the rolls.

So don't worry, the chance of getting a 20 is as high as getting a 1 with good quality handmade dice ;). Also for the salt water test, (We haven' t done that, just used statistics) it really amplifies any tiny inconsistencies that would not be noticed if you rolled in a dice tray or use a dice tower or even on just a table. In the salt water it might not be completely random, however, you don't roll your dice in salt water. Physics work different in water and you would discard perfectly fine dice this way, also your beloved chessex might fail the water test (mine did).

Over all due to working with a pressure pot, not overly tumbling dice in a tumbler and paying attention to what is put in and how and attention to the sanding and polishing by hand, handmade dice are considered more fair than factory made dice (which often contain air bubbles). And also, if you use multiple sets during the game, you really shouldn't worry about it. Just have fun :) Buy more sets to make sure ultimate funness is guaranteed ;)!

Are all the dice perfect?

We strive to make all dice as perfect as can be, but some will have blemishes that will be mentioned in the product discription and some will have microscratches. Dice that are a little too imperfect for playing are turned into dice keychains or earrings. We ar continuously working on our process to make the dice even more perfect. Each die is unique.

How are dice shipped?

Dice are shipped as a letterbox package (unless you have a bigger order). For letterbox packages you don't have to be home and this hopefully reduces the chance of your item getting lost or being returned. We feel this method is more secure, and since these are unique items, we can't replace them when they get lost. To make sure the dice are OK, dice are first put into a velvet baggy, than in a small bubble envelope, and then in a bigger bubble envelope.

Are dice edible?

NO! DON'T TRY TO EAT THEM!
